In a shocking incident in Chhattisgarh's Surguja district, two tribal minors were allegedly assaulted on the night of April 24. A police official reported the arrest of three adults and detention of three juveniles involved in the crime.

The victims, aged 15 and 13, were intercepted by motorcycle-borne attackers while returning from a wedding. Two friends accompanying them managed to flee, but the remaining two were forcibly taken and assaulted.

Despite initial medical reports being inconclusive, further examinations at Ambikapur district hospital led to the apprehension of the accused by April 30. Legal proceedings are underway under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and POCSO Act.
