Excise Commissioner Namit Mehta has directed enforcement teams to patrol, conduct raids, and coordinate with police to oversee major routes and toll plazas for the illegal movement of liquor consignments. Licensed shops are mandated to adhere strictly to the maximum retail price, complete with proper holograms.
Increased scrutiny will be placed on hotels, bars, dhabas, and event venues to prevent unauthorized liquor sales. District-wise reviews and continuous monitoring will be conducted to ensure the efficacy of the campaign.
