The Delhi High Court has issued a series of key rulings this Thursday, starting with a directive to preserve the assets of late industrialist Sunjay Kapur. Upon hearing disputes from Kapur's children over his will, the court mandated that all concerns be resolved by his third wife, Priya Kapur, before the will can be validated.
In another impactful decision, the Delhi government assured the court that all government school students are to receive their textbooks ahead of the summer vacation. This move aims to ensure an uninterrupted educational agenda for the academic session.
Additionally, a petition challenging the appointment of Bachu Venkat Balaram Das as acting president of the NCLT was declared infructuous. The Centre has subsequently appointed a former high court judge for the position, assuring a seamless transition in tribunal leadership.
