A BJP MP from Shahjahanpur, Arun Kumar Sagar, claimed in a recent press conference that his son was subjected to caste-based abuse and inappropriate behavior.
The incident allegedly involved Neetu Singh, a neighbor, but no formal complaint has been lodged yet. Meanwhile, police have arrested Neetu Singh's brother, Mukesh Singh, on separate charges related to an Arms Act violation.
The issue has sparked controversy, with a local Samajwadi Party leader suggesting a land dispute as the real cause. Sagar denies any connection to such a dispute.
