Kerala Government Offers Financial Aid to Accident Victims' Families

The Kerala government has announced a financial aid of Rs 10 lakh from the Chief Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for families of victims who perished in a road accident in Valparai, Tamil Nadu.
This decision came from a Saturday Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The accident involved 10 fatalities from a 13-member group consisting of teachers and staff from Pallipparambu Government Primary School from Kerala's Malappuram district.
The financial assistance will be extended to families without insurance coverage, while those with it will have treatment costs reimbursed. Additionally, the government will cover the treatment expenses of the three accident survivors.
