A tragic shooting occurred Sunday night at Arcadia Lake, just north of Oklahoma City, sending 12 partygoers to local hospitals. The Edmond police are working tirelessly to locate the suspects involved, as stated by police spokesperson Emily Ward.
The shooting took place at a gathering of young people near the popular recreational area. Reports indicate the incident happened around 9 pm. Nine victims were sent to Integris Health Baptist Medical Center, with three others treated at Integris Health Edmond Hospital.
While the exact details of the event remain unclear, social media suggests the gathering was part of a 'Sunday Funday' event. Arcadia Lake is renowned for its fishing, boating, and camping amenities. The community of Edmond, where the lake is located, recalls its tragic past of workplace violence in 1986.
