Ukrainian authorities have launched a sweeping anti-corruption operation, conducting searches across 16 regions targeting draft officials suspected of corruption, police announced Monday.
The National Police reported that the operations resulted in the seizure of money, cars, and motorcycles, and over 150 charges were filed for offenses such as illegal enrichment and false asset declarations.
The initiative seeks to address systemic corruption in recruitment and restore public confidence in military institutions essential during the ongoing conflict with Russia, as the military grapples with personnel shortages and morale issues.
