Upon hearing the news, Lok Sabha Speaker and Kota-Bundi MP Om Birla promptly visited the bereaved family to offer condolences. Birla provided an immediate compensation of Rs 1 lakh and pledged additional aid, alongside ensuring district authorities implement preventative measures against stray dog attacks.

The disturbing event has sparked calls for more effective management of stray dog populations. This marks the second such incident in the region, following a similar attack in February in Sitapura.
