UAE Denies Involvement in Sudan Drone Attacks Amid Regional Tensions

The United Arab Emirates has firmly rejected Sudan's accusations of deploying a drone from Ethiopian territory to attack Khartoum airport. The allegation surfaced amid Sudan's ongoing civil conflict, involving the UAE and paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, with both battling the Sudanese army.
Sudanese officials shared images claiming to show UAE-linked drone strikes from Ethiopia's Bahir Dar airport in recent months, while emphasizing their readiness to retaliate. However, the UAE denied involvement, criticizing Sudan's assertions as tactical diversions.
International reactions have been prompted, with Egypt and Saudi Arabia condemning the attack and urging preventions of external interference. The U.S. has also emphasized ceasing external support to conflicting parties in Sudan’s strife.
