Unsealed Note Sheds New Light on Epstein's Jail Time
A sealed note allegedly found by Jeffrey Epstein's former cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, has been made public, sharing cryptic messages possibly linked to Epstein's first suspected suicide attempt in jail. The note offers insight into the circumstances surrounding Epstein's death, sparking renewed interest and debate.
A note purportedly discovered by Jeffrey Epstein's former cellmate has come to light, years after being sealed in a courthouse vault amid a separate legal dispute. Released by a judge on Wednesday, the note is tied to Epstein's initial suspected suicide attempt.
The note was claimed to be found by ex-police officer Nicholas Tartaglione, who, during a podcast, said he saw it after Epstein was found with a bedsheet around his neck in their shared cell in July 2019. Authorities ruled Epstein's later death in August 2019 a suicide.
The note, which was difficult to read in parts, was not originally included in government reports about Epstein's death nor in any recent Justice Department files. This release has reignited discussions around Epstein's time in jail and the circumstances of his death.
