UP: Madarsa teacher held for sodomising minor student in Muzaffarnagar
A madrasa teacher was arrested on Friday for allegedly sodomising a 13-year-old student in a village in Uttar Pradeshs Muzaffarnagar, police said on Friday. According to the complaint filed by the victims father, the 22-year-old accused allegedly took the boy to a separate room where he was sodomised the minor.

A madrasa teacher was arrested on Friday for allegedly sodomising a 13-year-old student in a village in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, police said on Friday. The incident occurred on Thursday when the victim had gone to the madrasa. According to the complaint filed by the victim's father, the 22-year-old accused allegedly took the boy to a separate room where he was sodomised the minor. The teacher also reportedly threatened the minor with dire consequences if he told anyone about the incident. Circle Officer Gajendra Pal Singh said that based on the complaint, the police registered a case under sections of the BNS and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and arrested the accused on Friday. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
