In a daring escape, ten boys fled a shelter home in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, by breaking through a window grill, officials reported on Monday.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kantesh Kumar Mishra confirmed that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to delve into the incident. CCTV from surrounding areas is currently being reviewed as part of the investigation.
Security has been heightened at the shelter home, and authorities have not ruled out the possibility of internal collusion, warning of severe repercussions if staff involvement is discovered. This incident echoes a similar breakout in Katihar district last year.
