Among the landmark measures was the introduction of the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which aims to provide essential health insurance benefits to residents. Additionally, Adhikari announced that land would be allocated to the Border Security Force for expedited border fencing work, expected to be completed in under 45 days.

Adhikari's tenure also saw initiatives aimed at the inclusivity of youth and the families of those who suffered for democracy.
