Tragic Morning at Yamuna: Four Young Lives Lost
Four young people, including two girls, tragically drowned in the Yamuna river during a bathing outing on Tuesday. After a six-hour rescue effort, their bodies were recovered. The group had gathered to celebrate a birthday and visited the river the following morning, leading to the unfortunate incident.

In a tragic event on Tuesday morning, four youths, including two girls, drowned in the Yamuna river near the Kamla Nagar police station area. The incident unfolded around 9 a.m. while the group of relatives was bathing in the river, according to officials.
Additional District Magistrate Shubhangi Shukla identified the victims as Kanha (22), Mehak (19), Riya (17), and Vicky (11). Despite prompt intervention by police and local divers, only a lengthy six-hour rescue operation could recover the bodies.
Rakesh, Vicky's father, reported that the family and relatives had gathered for a birthday celebration in honor of Nitya on Monday night. The festivities turned tragic when some members went for a morning bath, resulting in the unfortunate loss of four young lives.
