Mizo Hmeichhe Insuihkhawm Pawl (MHIP) has condemned the exploitation of Mizoram women who were trafficked under the guise of employment. Following arrests and rescues, the organization urges vigilance to protect women from such networks. Mizoram police, coordinating with Uttarakhand police, unveiled a trafficking racket, rescuing several women from exploitation.

The Mizo Hmeichhe Insuihkhawm Pawl (MHIP), a prominent women's organization in Mizoram, has denounced the alleged trafficking of state women for exploitation under the pretense of employment opportunities. MHIP vows to pursue justice for victims and emphasizes the need for collaborative vigilance to prevent traffickers from endangering Mizo women.

Police operations in coordination with Uttarakhand authorities led to the arrest of suspects, including the spa owner, linked to the trafficking scheme. The arrests came after a survivor filed an FIR, unveiling how victims were deceived and forced into prostitution at a spa in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, supposedly offering legitimate jobs.

Rescued women, including minors, now under state care, receive medical and psychological support. The incident highlights the dire need for greater awareness and caution among job-seeking women. MHIP calls for public and community involvement in safeguarding against such abusive networks.
