The discovery was made on May 12 at a rocky cliff, following extensive and thorough search efforts. This joint operation was in response to reports of two U.S. service members missing near Tan Tan in southern Morocco during the African Lion military exercises.
U.S. and Moroccan officials confirmed on Sunday that the body of one soldier had been located, resolving the search operation near Cap Draa.
