Overnight Onslaught: Russian Drone and Missile Barrage on Ukraine
Russian forces have unleashed a barrage of drones and missiles on Ukraine, with Kyiv's air force confirming significant engagement. The air defenses intercepted a large number of drones and missiles, although several strikes were successful, causing damage in multiple locations across the country.
Russian forces launched a massive overnight assault on Ukraine, deploying 675 drones and 56 missiles, according to Kyiv's air force.
In a statement, the air force reported that its defenses successfully intercepted 652 drones and 41 missiles. Despite this, 38 attacks were confirmed across 24 locations.
Additional damage from debris was reported in another 18 areas, highlighting the broad impact of the offensive.
