In an effort to curb crime rates in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district, the local police have launched an initiative called 'Operation Prahari'. This campaign involves police officers conducting foot patrols in more than 250 designated areas at least three times a week, according to Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat.

Lunayat emphasized that the primary goal of 'Operation Prahari' is to make the police force more sensitive and alert to criminal activities while maintaining a people-friendly approach. The initiative aims to enhance public safety and strengthen community relations.

The Superintendent further mentioned that if necessary, the police will collaborate with various local entities, including the Ramgarh Municipal Council and the Ramgarh Cantonment Board, to ensure the success of the campaign.
