The investigation has already netted several arrests, including a used car showroom owner, and has exposed a network allegedly smuggling vehicles from Bhutan and Nepal into India with the aid of fraudulent documents. The operation also revealed a possible nexus involving transport officials across various states.

Among the seized vehicles was a Nissan Patrol featured in a Dulquer Salmaan film, intensifying scrutiny over its connection to the actor. Authorities continue to unravel the operation's intricacies, linking other vehicles to various influential figures.
