In a significant crackdown, Gujarat police have arrested two individuals for allegedly operating an illegal liquor manufacturing unit from a home in the Mehsana district.
The accused, identified as Vikram Thakor and Mahendrasinh Zala, were found with 178 boxes of counterfeit liquor and essential raw materials.
Charges under the Gujarat Prohibition Act have been filed against them, emphasizing the state's zero-tolerance stance on alcohol production and distribution.
