Authorities have successfully dismantled an illegal arms factory operated out of a derelict building in Baraut, arresting three suspects in the process, as announced on Saturday.
The operation led to the seizure of numerous illegal weapons and manufacturing equipment. Officials revealed that the factory had been secretly active for an extended period near the Eastern Yamuna Canal barrage.
The police have launched further investigations after apprehending Salim, Farman, and Shoaib, all linked to the unauthorized arms operation. A significant cache of firearms and materials was recovered. Despite their success, the alleged ringleader escaped the raid.
