Escalating Tensions: Russia's Drone and Missile Attacks on Ukrainian Cities

Russia conducted drone and missile strikes on the Ukrainian cities of Odesa and Dnipro overnight, as reported by Ukrainian authorities on Monday. The assaults injured 11 individuals, including two boys.

In Odesa, the attacks targeted residential areas, a school, and a kindergarten. The local military administration chief, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed the injuries of an 11-year-old boy and a 59-year-old man. Meanwhile, Dnipro was hit by missile strikes, injuring nine more, including a 10-year-old boy, according to regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha.

Across the border, Russia faced drone activities in its southern Rostov region, including Taganrog by the Sea of Azov. Separately, Ukraine launched a significant drone assault on Moscow, resulting in four fatalities. While both countries accuse each other, they deny intentionally targeting civilians. These developments mark a worrying increase in the conflict's intensity.
