Major Tamil Nadu Government Reshuffle Sees Over 10 IAS Officers Transferred

In an extensive bureaucratic reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government has transferred more than 10 senior IAS officers, thus realigning the state's administrative framework.
The reshuffle sees Gagandeep Singh Bedi taking on the role of additional chief secretary in the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department. Meanwhile, P Amudha has been appointed as the secretary for the Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department. Satyabrata Sahoo was reassigned as the secretary of the Water Resources Department.
Other notable changes include Shuchonngam Jatak Chiru becoming the secretary of the Public Works Department and Anil Meshram taking over as the secretary of the Energy Department. These appointments are part of a strategy to enhance governance and administrative efficiency within the state.
