Tragic Accident in Kurukshetra: Child's Death Sparks Outcry

A one-and-a-half-year-old child named Prashant died after being hit by a tractor-trolley in Ratgal village, Kurukshetra. The accident occurred while the child was playing outside his house. A tragic incident unfolded in Ratgal village of Kurukshetra on Monday when a toddler lost his life after being struck by a tractor-trolley. The child, identified as one-and-a-half-year-old Prashant, was playing outside his home when the accident occurred.

According to the boy's mother, Seema, she had briefly left the child under the care of his father, Vijaypal, who was at home on leave. The child reportedly wandered onto the roadway where ongoing soil-filling work was taking place with frequent movement of tractor-trolleys.

Family members claimed that the vehicle hit the child, and despite attempts to rush him to a nearby hospital, doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. Allegations of misconduct by individuals linked to the construction work have emerged, with claims that they later intimidated the family. Police took the body for post-mortem and initiated an investigation, examining available CCTV footage.
