China says Xi, Trump held 'constructive talks' on AI

​Chinese ​President Xi ‌Jinping and U.S. ​counterpart Donald Trump ‌held constructive talks on AI during their Beijing summit last ‌week and agreed to ‌keep up intergovernmental dialogue, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said ⁠on ​Tuesday.

As ⁠major industry players, the two ⁠should jointly promote its development ​and governance to better ⁠serve the progress of civilization ⁠and ​the well-being of the international community, the spokesperson, ⁠Guo Jiakun, told a ⁠daily ⁠press conference.
