60-year-old woman found murdered in Navi Mumbai

A 60-year-old woman, identified as Ajrunisa Khan, was found murdered with her body stuffed inside a gunny sack in Navi Mumbai's Turbhe Store area.

A 60-year-old woman was found murdered with her body stuffed inside a gunny sack in Turbhe Store area of Navi Mumbai, police said on Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Ajrunisa Khan, said an official.

According to police sources, passersby noticed a yellow gunny bag abandoned in the locality and alerted the local police.

While a case of murder was registered, the body was sent to a government hospital for a postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
