Ukraine says allies should not give in to Russian blackmail as Moscow threatens strikes

Allies should not give ‌in to Russian blackmail, Ukraine's Foreign Minister ‌Andrii Sybiha said on Monday, commenting on Moscow threatening strikes ‌on the capital Kyiv.

Russia's foreign ‌ministry said on Monday it would launch a "series of systematic strikes" against Ukrainian defence-industrial facilities in Kyiv and warned foreign citizens and diplomats to leave the city.

"We are currently discussing with our partners that there is no need to give in to this Russian blackmail," Sybiha told reporters.
