Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, reaffirmed his commitment to compassionate governance by distributing appointment orders to 52 beneficiaries on Tuesday.

These appointments, made under the state's SRO-43 and the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS), aim to extend aid to dependents of government employees who have died while in service, as well as victims of terrorism.

Expressing his best wishes, Abdullah encouraged the new appointees to fulfill their roles with dedication and a commitment to public service, according to a statement from the Chief Minister's office.
