Revanth Reddy has mandated that the 50,000 cadre of gram panchayat employees receive their monthly salaries on the first, similar to the IAS officers. During a meeting, he announced a monthly Rs 50 crore budget to ensure prompt payments.
He emphasized a strict policy where even a single day's delay will not be acceptable. The revival of a previously discarded rule will also empower panchayats by allowing their revenue to go directly into their bank accounts. Additionally, social security pensions will be channeled to beneficiaries' bank accounts directly, leveraging voter ID, Aadhaar data, and local socio-economic surveys for accuracy.
