Five Sentenced for Killing Elderly Couple Over Property Dispute

A court has sentenced Yogesh and four others for the murder of his parents in a property dispute case in Nagla Ramiyan village. The couple was allegedly killed by their son and his accomplices in May 2023 while they were traveling after collecting land lease money.

A local court has sentenced Yogesh, also known as Beetu, and four others for the murder of his parents due to a property dispute. The verdict, delivered by District Judge Babbu Singh Narang, also implicated Yogesh's wife Rashmi, and their associates Ankita, Ravi, and Sushil.

Rakesh and his wife Guddi Devi were reportedly stopped and shot dead on May 28, 2023, while traveling after leasing their agricultural land. The couple's younger son, Seetu, filed the complaint, accusing his brother Yogesh of orchestrating the murder with his wife's help and their accomplices Ankita, Ravi, and Sushil, as revealed by District Government Counsel Rajeev Upadhyay.
