Authorities in Delhi have detained three suspects, among them a brother-in-law, implicated in a failed knifepoint robbery that targeted an assumed cash carrier. The incident unfolded with an attempt to snatch what they thought was a cash-laden bag, only to find it empty.
Sharad Kumar Thakur, collecting funds for an auto parts store, became the focus of an elaborate plot engineered by Prashant Verma, his own brother-in-law. Collaborators Harsh and Nitish executed the robbery while Verma orchestrated the plan. Frustrated by the lack of loot, the suspects soon disposed of the victim's belongings, leading to their eventual capture through CCTV footage.
