In a shocking event in Ajmer's Shrirampura village, 60 kilometers from the city, a former sarpanch and three of his family members perished in a fire that engulfed their vehicle. Initially considered accidental, evidence is now pointing towards a potential murder case.
The victims, including former sarpanch Ram Singh Choudhary, his mother Poosi Devi, wife Suryagyan Devi, and a relative Mahima Chaudhary, were discovered in the charred remains of the vehicle. One body was found separately in a field. Authorities noted that the bodies bore injury marks, and blood was found at the family's home, deepening the mystery surrounding their deaths.
Ajmer SP Harsh Vardhan Agarwala stated that the initial evidence suggests foul play, with attention turning towards the former sarpanch's first wife and children, whose roles remain under suspicion. The bodies have been sent for autopsy as investigations continue.
