A thunderstorm turned Eid-ul-Azha celebrations into a tragedy in Nuh district, with two separate wall collapses leading to the death of two children and injuring four more. The incidents, reported on Thursday evening, have left the local community in mourning.
In Tapkan village, a 30-foot wall of the Government Senior Secondary School fell during the storm, burying several children playing nearby. Fifteen-year-old Mohammad Ayan lost his life, while four others sustained injuries. Meanwhile, a similar incident in Chandeni village resulted in the death of 9-year-old Anshed Khan. Rescue efforts were quickly initiated by police and local villagers, and an investigation is underway. Public representatives expressed their sorrow over the loss.
