20 Kg of Brown Sugar Seized in Mandsaur; Five Arrested

Authorities in Madhya Pradesh seized 20 kilograms of brown sugar, valued between Rs 20 and 40 crore, from the Mandsaur district. This operation led to the arrest of five individuals, including a woman, following a vehicle search conducted by police after receiving a tip-off.

During a press conference, Superintendent of Police Vijay Kumar Meena revealed that if tests confirm the contraband's superior quality, its value could reach up to Rs 40 crore. Along with the narcotics, two vehicles and seven mobile phones were confiscated. No cash was found with the suspects, raising suspicions of their involvement in a wider interstate drug trafficking network. Aziz, an alleged accomplice, remains at large as the investigation unfolds further.
