Woman Injured in Suspected Land Dispute Shooting in Uttar Pradesh
A woman was critically injured in Uttar Pradesh when unidentified attackers shot at her during a morning walk. Police suspect the attack is related to a land dispute, as the victim reportedly identified two suspects before being taken to a hospital for treatment.

A woman in her forties sustained severe injuries when she was shot at by unidentified individuals during her morning walk in Etah district, Uttar Pradesh. Authorities suspect the altercation is related to an ongoing land dispute.
The attack occurred early in the morning near Daheliya Pooth village's secretariat. According to police, the victim, Sadhana Mishra, was approached by a vehicle from which several assailants emerged and pursued her. She was subsequently shot, suffering critical injuries. Police teams are actively investigating after being alerted via an emergency helpline, and Mishra has named two alleged attackers: Ballu and Gulbahar. The victim has been transferred to a specialised medical centre due to the severity of her condition.
Police continue their searches and investigations into the case, and no formal complaint has been filed yet, said Jasrathpur Police Officer Vijay Singh.
