UN Report Discovers Troubling Links Between Israeli Authorities and Settler Violence in West Bank

A United Nations report has unveiled direct involvement by Israeli authorities in settler attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. The inquiry indicates these attacks, fatal and injurious in nature, have been supported financially and militarily by Israeli entities.

The Commission of Inquiry, observing a 130% surge in incidents since 2023, noted the critical role of Israeli security forces in protecting settlers during assaults. Such occurrences, often dismissive of established military protocols, have left Palestinians displaced and vulnerable.

The report's head, S. Muralidhar, urged global intervention to halt these actions, citing serious rights violations and the dangerous interplay between settlers and Israeli forces as prolongations of state policy.
