Saturday evening turned into a nightmare as a five-story commercial building near Saket Metro station collapsed, sending survivors scrambling for safety amid dust and debris. What began as an ordinary scene with students and workers quickly changed to panic after a loud crash shook the neighborhood at 7:44 pm.

As memories of confusion linger, several people were rushed to the hospital, and rescue efforts continued into Sunday. "I saw a portion of the building falling," recalled Ronit, who was near a popular student canteen, "Within seconds, everything was covered in dust." The building housed coaching centers and offices, while the adjacent canteen served as a refuge for students.

Debris struck directly onto the canteen, leading to chaos and fear. Rishab, a frequent visitor, recalled, "Suddenly there was chaos and people screaming." The collapse claimed six lives, including Parvati Ojha, who perished after attempting to warn students.

Survivor stories reveal the haunting moments as some missed the collapse by minutes, while others like Ashutosh sustained injuries in their escape. Rescue operations proceeded as survivors gathered, replaying those terrifying moments at the debris site.
