A low-intensity country-made bomb created panic in Sukarlabad area in Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district on Wednesday morning. A woman, who was trying to open the door of her house, found the bomb tied up with a string. When she pulled it, the blast took place. Fortunately, no one was injured in the blast.
Later, the woman found another bomb planted in her kitchen and on a two-wheeler parked outside her house. She hurriedly informed the police. The police deployed bomb squad to defuse bombs. One of the neighbours said: "We heard the blast sound this morning. When we came out, we saw smoke and debris all over. The woman lives with her son and daughter. Sometimes her mother visits the place."
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mahaboob Basha said: "When the woman opened the door of her house in the morning, the blast took place. She immediately approached the nearest police station." "She was married to a man, named Chandrasekhar but they have disputes. She reportedly has an extra-marital relationship. We will probe into the matter and take proper action," he said.
