Monsoon weakens over Telangana,

The southwest monsoon that has set in Telangana has weakened, but heavy rain is likely on June 29 and June 30, according to India Meteorological Department. The IMD in its daily weather report forecast light-to-moderate rainfall or thundershowers in a few places over the next five days.

Also, the IMD said heavy rains were likely to occur on June 29 and June 30. The IMD in its report said rain occurred at isolated places during the last 24 hours.

According to the weather report, the highest rainfall of 5 cm was recorded at Gundala in Kothagudem district, followed by 4 cm in Nizam Sagar in Kamareddy, and as much as Wankdi in Kumaram Bheem district.
