A teenage girl wasstabbed to death Tuesday afternoon in Maharashtra's Amravatidistrict in a case of unrequited love, police said
Arpita Thakre (19) was returning from coaching classesaround 2:30pm when a man identified as Tushar Kiran Mhaske(22) stabbed her multiple times, a Rajapeth police stationofficial said
"She was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctorsdeclared her dead on arrival. Mhaske has been arrested andcharged with murder. Preliminary probe has revealed Mhaske wasin a one-sided love affair with the victim," said InspectorKishor Suryavanshi.
