J'khand CM announces compensation for kin of accident victms

The family members of threepilgrims, who died in a road accident in Jharkhand's Dumkadistrict, will receive a compensation of Rs 1 lakh each, ChiefMinister Raghubar Das announced on Thursday

Six pilgrims - all from Purnia district in Bihar -were returning from Basukinath temple in the district onWednesday when an auto-rickshaw carrying them collided with atruck on the Dumka-Bhagalpur road, an official said While three of them died on the spot, three others whosuffered injuries were taken to a hospital in Deoghar

Expressing his condolences, Das directed theadministration to ensure proper treatment for the injured.
