The Penna river turned deadly for four people including three children and a youth who lost his life after being washed away in the river at Kamalapuram village in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh last evening. The deceased has been identified as Hussain. His body was recovered during the search operation.
The three children have been identified as Shahid (10), Chand Basha (13) and Jakir (12). They belonged to Dargah street in Kamalapuram. A rescue operation is underway by the police and fire department. While the rescue team and fisheries department have deployed boats to find the missing children. (ANI)
