Odisha govt dismisses 15 officials from service

Odisha government hasdismissed at least 15 officials from service and stoppedpensions of two others, an official release issued by theChief Minister's Office said on Saturday

Noting that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has askedall department to adopt zero-tolerance policy towardscorruption, it said the government dismissed the 15 officialsafter they were convicted by the vigilance court

Similarly, the pension facilities of retired assistantengineer of Kalahandi ITDA, Aswini Kumar Sharma and retiredAPD of Kalahandi DRDA, Shasank Sekhar Patnaik have beenstopped for corruption, it added.
