Tiger kills 6-month old male elephant

An half-eaten carcass of asix-month-old male elephant, believed to have been attacked bya tiger, was found on Thursday in the Masinagudi forest rangeof Nilgiris district, officials said

Forest officials suspect that it might have died afterbeing attacked by the tiger which might have eaten part of thecarcass.
