ITC elevates Managing Director Sanjiv Puri as Chairman and MD of company

ITC had elevated its Managing Director Sanjiv Puri as Chairman and MD of the company after former chairman Yogesh Chander Deveshwar passed away on Saturday.

Yogesh Chander Deveshwar left behind a rich legacy and tributes poured in from across the country as news broke out that he has passed away. 

Deveshwar joined ITC in 1968 and was the architect of its aggressive transformation from a tobacco company to a conglomerate with a portfolio of products in fast moving consumer goods, hotels, paperboards, and paper, packaging and agri-business.
