A 28-year old post-graduate medical student of a private college near here was today found dead in his rented house, police said.

Parivendan, a third-year student, was found lying unconscious in his bed in the house and police, alerted by neighbors, rushed him to the medical college hospital, where doctors said he had already died.

The cause of the death was under investigation, police said. The medico belonged to Tiruchengode in Namakkal district of neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
