Teen’s corpse recovered after hours in Angola’s Huíla province

A 14-year-old boy was drowned in a water well at the weekend in the municipality of Quipungo, Huíla province of Angola. This case appears in the list of events registered in the last seven days, by the National Fire and Civil Protection Service, which indicates the removal of three bodies in several places, two more than the previous week.

A spokesman for the Civil Protection and Fire Department, 3rd Deputy Chief of Police Inocêncio Hungulo, said that the incident occurred at 4 pm in the Malipi sector, 13 kilometers from the municipal seat of Quipungo, and the corpse was rescued four hours after.

According to the source, the causes of the incident are being investigated by the National Police.

The other two deaths occurred during the day, in Lubango municipality, one in the Arimba commune, where a 41-year-old citizen was found whose body was found in a forest, with cause to be determined; and another, for presumed drowning in the Tchimucua river, a district with the same name.

During the period under review, the firefighters also performed six evacuations, a neutralization of bee examination and a neutralization of fuel spillage.
