Charlotte Baidoo, CEO of Women's World Banking Ghana has revealed that the company has witnessed substantial progress in 2018 although it confronted plenty of challenges in the nation's financial sector.

According to Charlotte Baidoo, the challenges turned the organization more resilient to deliver on its purpose which is to assist the customers and clients seize opportunities at every stage of their financial lives. While speaking at the annual thanksgiving service of Women's World Banking Ghana in the capital city, Accra, Baidoo opined that the company was more poised to build deeper relationship with its clients in 2018, as reported by Graphic Online.

"This year can be summarised in a few words: In the face of significant challenges, notable among which is the financial crisis that faced the industry following the regulators declaration to purge the industry, we made significant progress. While some may consider this as a challenging period, I believe that this was a test for us all, and I am confident to say that we have come out much stronger," Baidoo said.

She further added that the company's focus and strategy are clear as it looks forward to heighten client experience in the next year with an objective to record higher profitability.
