Zambia's President Edgar Lunga will be present at the national dialogue meeting slated to take place on Friday, January 18. State House spokesperson Amos Chanda opined that the country's President is not only committed to the national dialogue process, he is confident that the Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) and Church mother bodies will be able to make a platform that will build confidence and competence in the process.
Amos Chanda said while addressing the media persons at the State House in Zambia's capital city Lusaka on Friday, January 4 that President Edgar Lunga has giving his effort in bringing the Catholic Bishops and other church member bodies at one podium to find a proper functional arrangement for holding the national dialogue.
According to Chanda, the process has already been commenced to explore arrangements to include the Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue, as reported by Lusaka Times. The Head of State has emphasized that dialogue is an important national process far beyond individual and partisan interests.
