Skeleton found after 15yrs of disappearance, Family to receive remains of dead Egyptian

After 15 years of disappearance of an Egyptian named Eid Abdelkhaliq Adham, his skeleton was discovered in an abandoned building during its demolition in mid-2018. His skeleton remained in the Pavia morgue located in Italy's Pavia from July till date and the Italian authorities could not reach the cause of his demise.

The remains of deceased Eid Abdelkhaliq Adham was found 15 years after his disappearance in the northern Italian city of Piacenza. Reports say that his family will be getting his remains by January 17 or 18. Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan received a report from the ministry's Labor Representation Office in the Egyptian consulate in Milan explaining the details of the story of Abdelkhaliq Adham. He was from Kafr al-Zayat city in Gharbiya governorate.

The young man went missing in 2004 in the northern Italian city of Piacenza. After over 14 years, his body was recovered at an abandoned building while it was set to be demolished.

Milan's labor adviser, Ezzat Emran notified that Ministry of Manpower ensures that his family receives all their financial entitlements. He added the brother of the deceased bore the costs of transporting the remains from Milan to Cairo, Egypt Independent reported.
